Note from a happy customer in Medina
I just want to tell you what a wonderful experience I had with your company today.
And, I want to especially tell you that you have an exceptional service person in Dave, who did the work.
Your company was scheduled to replace a garage door opener for me early this morning. I requested the service as early as possible.
At about 7:30 AM, I received a call from Dave, advising me that he would arrive a little after 8 AM -- if that was OK with me. That was a good start, but it only got better. Dave got right to work installing and adjusting the new unit to work well. He explained whatever I asked about and was courteous and most helpful. He also tightened some hinges and adjusted the springs.
There was no effort to sell me things that were not needed, and I respect Dave and your company for that.
The bill was exactly what I was quoted. You probably know that there are other, "Reliable" companies out there that do not have those ethics. I had experienced that problem, and wondered if it was common practice in this industry. Your company's high ethical conduct, combined with excellent service, demonstrated that it is not.
In addition to everything else, Dave's commitment to completely satisfy the customer was further demonstrated in how he handled a "missing"
remote. The experience is far too embarrassing for me to relate in detail. You might ask Dave about it, and you can believe that it happened just the way he will tell you.
In these times of poor and deteriorating levels of customer care/service/concern, Custom Door stands out as a shining example of how business should be done in America. I was fortunate to have had your company do this work for me, and you are fortunate to have a representative as special as Dave. I thank you both.
Consumers' Checkbook does not do a very good job of providing ratings for garage door services, but I did leave feedback on my experience with your company. I do hope others will read it, and that you get some benefit from it.
